HOWARD LOUDIN

Howard Loudin is the president of HSL, inc., t/a Loudin Building Systems located in Louisa, Virginia                                                                                     hloudin@loudin.net

Howard, as president of HSL, Inc., brings over 30 years of construction experience to the organization.  The company has earned a notable reputation for its commitment to customer satisfaction and quality.  Loudin Building Systems has encompassed such jobs as manufacturing facilities, shopping centers, office buildings, church/religious and educational facilities.  While the majority of the company’s work is commercial and industrial, a portion is devoted to residential custom home building.  Howard’s responsibilities range from developing company budgets, project budgets, complete project management, sales, marketing, and being involved in all aspects of the day to day operations of the business. 

Prior to starting his own company, Mr. Loudin worked in a variety of capacities at L. White & Co., Inc.(a general contractor), in Fredericksburg, Virginia.  He served as Vice-President and General Manager, Construction Manager, Superintendent, as well as Concrete and Ironwork Foreman.  Having started his career in the field as a tradesman, he has a wealth of practical and technical knowledge that enhances his ability to manage projects more effectively.

Mr. Loudin was esteemed with the prestigious award as the “2007  Business Person of the Year” by the Louisa County Chamber of Commerce.  He has been involved in an abundance of projects in the Town of Louisa that helped earn him this award. During the award ceremony, the Chamber commented that “He has changed the face of the Town of Louisa” and “You can’t drive through Louisa County without seeing the results of what he has been doing.  He has left a beautiful legacy for our Town for generations to come”, (The Central Virginian, February 22, 2007 issue).

Howard is involved with his church, Howard is not only a member and deacon serving at Mineral Baptist Church; he enjoys coaching and ministering the youth in Upward Basketball, as well as playing, singing, and writing Gospel music. Howard is a family man and when he’s not enjoying a relaxing evening with his family you can find him and his son somewhere on the water fishing.

KEVIN LOUDIN

Started working at Loudin Building Systems in 2001 as a laborer and equipment operator.  Became a Job Site Superintendent in 2011.  Has been a Project Manager since 2020. Kevin is a Member of Mineral Baptist Church and serves as a Deacon,  is Chairman of the Buildings & Grounds Committee, and Safety & Security.  Has been a coach for Louisa Little League for 13 years. Kevin is married to Christa, and they have 3 children, Cole, Kaylie, & Chase.
